You’ll help monitor, project and report on the Society’s capital positions, in support of the Society’s corporate plan and risk appetite.
Reporting to the Treasury Senior Manager – Capital Planning, you will form part of the Society’s Treasury team, and will support work to monitor and report capital levels, produce reports for internal committees, investors, and the regulator on the Society’s current and projected capital position.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You'll be analytical and proficient in MS office, being able to demonstrate strong MS Excel skills, you'll also have an ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. A university qualification and knowledge of Finance, Treasury, regulatory reporting or risk management is an advantage, but is not essential. More crucial is an ability and desire to learn, as we’ll expect you to be studying toward a relevant qualification or be keen to commence this to help you grow and develop in this role. You’ll be proactive and want to understand how your role and activity fits and adds value in the context of Finance and the wider Society as a whole. You’ll continually look for opportunities to develop both yourself and your team and look to step outside of the confines of your role in the support of colleagues and the Society.
