Job Description

We have an exciting and unique opportunity for a management accountant to join our team on a full-time basis. Working closely with our Finance and Commercial Manager, your key responsibility is to support them in the financial operational running of the hospital to achieve financial goals as part of the hospital's overall strategy.

We practice some of the most advanced treatments with the latest generation imaging and diagnostic technology. This means we can offer everything from screening, rehabilitation and cutting-edge surgical procedures across a variety of specialist treatments which are all delivered through our expert and caring clinical teams.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Together with the FACM you will be responsible for ensuring the accounting processes throughout the hospital are effective in order to ensure the accuracy of information for financial records.
  • Conduct high level of finance analysis where required
  • Adding value by providing advice, support and guidance in operational finance processes and decisions across the hospital and being accountable for ensuring the team meets all operational targets
  • Assisting in payroll, meeting deadlines and promoting effective commercial finance awareness

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Who we're looking for: Someone who is highly organized and accurate and works well to tight deadlines and works well as part of a wider team. Experience with setting and managing forecast budgets as well as reviewing results and completing investigations as to how results can be improved. Experience working in a similar role ideally within a large fast paced organization. Experience managing others would be desirable but not necessary. Ideally you will be working towards ACCA / CIMA or equivalent.
