What will the role involve?

• Ensure all financial schedules are maintained;
• Reconcile key nominal and control accounts monthly;
• Prepare and submit the VAT returns;
• Assist the Director of Finance with the preparation of the Group Annual Accounts and its subsidiaries;
• Liaise with external auditors and be the main point of contact for the annual audit;
• Review and control of leases;
• Assist the Director of Finance with the annual budget;
• Ensure robust controls over document storage and archiving, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements;
• Assist with project analysis;
• Other ad-hoc duties as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Actively studying ACCA or ACA qualification; Previous experience of producing financial accounts under UK GAAP; Experience of VAT reporting; Approachable and adaptable with excellent communication skills.
