The business are a major player in their respective field and have a modern and flexible approach to working arrangements they definitely do not expect somebody to be in the office 5 days per week for this role!
Responsibilities will include:
Coaching, management and development of a team of 3.

Leading all Financial Accounting activities, ensuring that all month end reporting is processed in a timely and accurate manner.
Review the Balance Sheet reconciliations, performed by the Financial Accounting team.
Ensure that all financial reports are in line with both internal and external controls frameworks.
Educating the wider finance function on controls updates and their ramifications.

Contribute to the wider performance of the finance team, taking a lead on process and system improvement activities.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified Intermediate Excel skills - (Pivots, Look Ups, Ifs) Demonstrable examples of where you have utilised your Excel/systems skills to drive process improvements. Experience of financial reporting within a multinational business is essential ideally having experience of US GAAP reporting and SOX Controls.
