To assist the Operations Manager in leading, managing and supporting Services. The role is reportable
to the Registered Manager when there is one in post, to provide additional support with agreed actions
that will improve the quality and compliance of a service.
To carry out support in different parts of the organisation as and when required.
To support new and existing services.
Support and develop transition plans ensuring the person is at the centre.
Support managers with assessments and complete referral documentation.
To support services to prepare for CQC inspections.
To support positive culture and implement person centred support.
To train and develop keyworkers on implementing person centred reviews and plans.
To focus on evidencing outcomes.
Support and take part in the delivery of company inductions.
Hold workshops in services, implementing positive behaviour support plans.
Develop service user forums, supporting co-production.
Supporting service users to have a voice and be involved in quality monitoring.
To respond to the needs of the services with joint working with MDT, Quality Team and Operations
Managers.
To take on the registration in the interim period of a Service should a longer-term support plan be
needed, and no RM in post
Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Outcomes:
To take up a variety of senior positions within Precious Homes, working with Operations Managers,
Service Managers and MDT in leading good practice and developing excellence in service user
support and to assist services in implementing Active Support and Person-Centred Planning.
To cover any senior role as directed.
To provide advice and support to managers, to assist them to achieve the highest standards of
support and management.
To undertake specific pieces of project work, either in relation to a specific service or services.
To carry out audits and visits to services as required; design with managers, when required, service
improvement plans.
To maintain strict confidentiality about individual services, staff and service users at all times.
To assist the Operations Managers in drawing up, implementing and reviewing risk assessments for
service users and staff to ensure their health, safety and welfare is paramount at all times.
To carry out any other duties commensurate with the general level of responsibility of the post.
Contributing to the safeguarding of adults by ensuring you are aware of your role in relation to the
Home’s Safeguarding Adult’s Policy, taking steps to protect service users from any form of abuse or
neglect and use the appropriate reporting mechanisms to inform the Service’s Management of any
concerns.
To undertake any training needs identified, either at work or with other agencies
To undertake any refresher courses necessary to maintain competence
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
