This role is working with British Gypsum where you will enable informed decision making by providing financial support to the plant management and reporting financial data for consolidation. You will be working closely with the Operations and Engineering teams to provide an understanding of the plant performance by producing monthly financial results.
In the role as a Mines Cost Controller you will;
Provide an understanding of the plant performance by producing monthly financial results – including reports and commentary to the key plant management team.
Assist in monitoring and reviewing key financial data for the site to identify trends and enable operations management to take appropriate and timely actions to deliver the required financial performance.
Ensure compliance of business processes at plant level in order to deliver consistent, accurate and robust financial information.
Coordinate and prepare the annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
Maintain, monitor and review financial data, and to value the plant’s operational initiatives by providing supporting financial data – especially through the WCM program.
Monitor and report on the projects of the site and control the fixed asset register.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

IT skills especially in Excel. Ideally have previous experience of using SAP but training can/will be provided.
