Undertaking credit control and accounting duties which include:
Credit control
Supporting the finance director in month end reporting
Preparing VAT returns
Support the book-keeper on processing supplier invoices
Preparing supplier payment runs
Reconciling key supplier accounts
Liaising with Operations to reconcile distribution costs
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent communication skills with ability to build rapport with suppliers and customers Minimum AAT level 3 qualified or qualified by experience At least 2 years’ experience in a bookkeeping role Full understanding of double entry bookkeeping Organised and able to manage own workload Self-motivated and flexible attitude Strong Excel skills Experience of Xero, Quickbooks Online and Receipt Bank
