Following a recent promotion to General Manager, the previous company accountant is keen to pass across their knowledge and support a new company accountant to take over the running of a small but growing finance function.
As with any small business you will be a key cog in the wheel and this position will also oversee basic HR tasks and management of a general office assistant, along with an accounts assistant. If you enjoy variety and gaining a good understanding of what makes the business tick, this is the role for you!
Duties will be varied and suitable for an experienced book keeper looking to; take on a bit more,
a part qualified accountant looking for a strong mentor to learn from, or a fully qualified accountant interested in a rewarding role.
Key duties include:
-Weekly and monthly management accounts production
-Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
-Cashflow forecasting
-VAT Returns
-Liaise with external accountants for year end and tax related queries
-Manage debtor accounts
-Manage and mentor an accounts assistant
-Facilitate weekly and monthly data to payroll Bureau
