Job Description

The Bookkeeper job presents a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual, wishing to complete their studies within a supportive and people-focused environment. The successful Bookkeeper will gain exposure across all disciplines including tax, accounts, VAT, and payroll, making it an amazing opportunity to grow and learn.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Set up and maintain accounts
  • Bookkeeping - including purchase ledger/sale ledger maintenance
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Preparation of payroll
  • VAT returns
  • Query resolution via phone and email

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
3+ years experience in one or more of the following roles: Accounts Administrator / Finance Administrator / Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper / Senior Bookkeeper Proven experience of self-development AAT Qualified is desirable but not essential Excellent communication skills Knowledge of Xero is desirable
