We are looking for a competent Bookkeeper to join our office team based in Dunton Green.
Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper:
Bank reconciliation for multiple bank accounts
VAT returns
Processing staff expenses
Dealing with subcontractor invoices and payment sheets
Posting supplier invoices and credit notes
Allocating customer sales receipts and remittances
Posting cheque payments
Keeping payments up to date with suppliers
Ensuring pay slips are correct
Filing of paperwork

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
5+ years in a similar role Relevant Bookkeeping qualifications Experience using Sage50 Accounts VAT returns experience Knowledge using excel, word, and google sheets Good time management skills Reliable and trustworthy Previous bookkeeping experience in a construction related company Use of own vehicle due to location of office
