Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing the business opportunities in an identified territory and achieving the turnover targets and profit margins through credible practice partnerships
  • Establish valued added partnerships through the identification of customer needs and opportunities and the promotion of a range of innovative based solutions as well as supporting the growth of the companies’ portfolio and services.
  • Develop a strong customer base through the identification, profiling and analysis of new business opportunities in a defined local market, primarily aiming to target key vets, veterinary practices and key accounts.
  • Meet defined targets and KPIs in line with company strategy and objectives including Sales Excellence and Solutions Excellence programmes as well as working within the company’s segmentation framework.
  • Ensure customers are adequately trained and supported during implementation and subsequent use of the services.
  • Based on strong technical market-oriented knowledge, implement training and practice support for the company’s solutions, services and products from practice to farm, ensuring customer and company needs are met.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A deep knowledge of and passionate interest in the UK dairy industry. Exposure and experience working proactively with evidence and data to improve analysis, to drive positive health outcomes and improvements on large, modern dairy farms. A customer-focused approach to understanding explicit needs through the dairy value chain from client farmer to vet and practice. An ability and affinity with IT to gather and use farm data.
