Job Description

They require a Finance Director to strategically support the CEO in driving this growth, as well as assume responsibility for the operational finance function. You will ideally have a background in working for PE backed businesses and multi-site organizations, and expertise in acquisitions & investments.

Key responsibilities:

• Alongside the CEO, support and drive the strategic planning for the group.

• Lead the operational finance function, including driving better processes & efficiencies, and oversight of budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.

• Support the CEO in identifying prospective acquisitions, providing financial due diligence and investment appraisal, as well as supporting the integration of new acquisitions.

• Partner other areas of the business, to drive and promote financial insight and information across the group to support commercial decision making.

• Line management of the finance team.

Our client is offering a salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, plus a strong benefits package.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ideal candidate will have the below skills/experience: A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). A background in a PE backed environment, ideally within a multi-site setting. Expertise across the whole acquisitions process, from supporting the development of an acquisition strategy to performing valuations to completion. A track record of managing a team and leading a finance function. Strong controls experience. Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels across a business.
