Job Description

We are looking for applicants with a minimum of 2:1 degree in any discipline who are keen to pursue a career in accountancy. The successful candidate will have a professional approach, good communication skills and be highly motivated, ambitious and keen to learn. Experience is not essential as full training will be given.

We believe that the best way to serve our clients is by ensuring each staff member has a broad range of experience throughout the spectrum of accounting for SMEs. On this basis, your role day to day throughout your training contract is likely to be varied, gaining experience and knowledge of the following:

• Bookkeeping (mainly using Xero, but also with other systems)
• VAT Returns
• Management Accounts Preparation
• Year End Accounts Preparation
• Corporation Tax computations
• Company Secretarial and other Admin tasks
• Involvement in audits and other specialist assignments

There may be opportunities to assist the personal tax and payroll departments to further your knowledge. Not only will this experience be a great benefit to your career, but will also complement your ACA studies.
