Job Description

As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will take on a broad set of duties and oversee a small team. Duties will include:

• Ensuring the year-end statutory accounts are completed in a timely manner
• Leading a team of two
• Overseeing the month-end process including journals and reconciliations
• VAT and Intrastat
• Improving processes and procedures
• Overseeing the year-end audit

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Our client is looking for an ambitious qualified accountant who is looking to take their first or second step away from accountancy practice. You will also have prior experience in leading a small team or having mentored staff members previously.
