Job Description

Due to expansion within the business, we are now seeking a financially qualified Manager to both oversee and action the day to day financial running of the business, and to work alongside the Board to help the company achieve its long term growth strategy.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Producing monthly Management Accounts

• Produce reports on project costing, supplier credit, etc.

• Produce and maintain all forecasts including cash flow and P&L

• Ensure VAT returns are accurately calculated and filed on time

• Reconcile Stock allocations with the production team

• Prepare information for the R&D Claim

• Take ownership of the Business Insurances mainly during the renewal process

• Liaise with external key stakeholders such as suppliers, credit underwriters, business bank etc.

• Implement and maintain internal controls, procedures, and accounting systems

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You are a qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience or knowledge of retail manufacturing processes. You have strong IT skills and are an experienced Sage user, and advanced level in Excel. You are a driven, passionate and commercially focused individual. As an autonomous role, you are a confident individual who can both successfully run the daily financial management of the business and bring strategic financial planning to the Board room table. Your communication skills are what sets you apart. License/Certification: Accountant (Required).
