Job Description

Our client is looking for an ambitious individual with practice experience to undertake a varied and challenging position in which you will be responsible for ensuring the provision of accurate and efficient accounting and tax services to your clients. You will be responsible for liaising with and meeting clients to discuss their accounts, tax returns and other ad hoc issues.

The workload will be varied and will include the review of both year-end and management accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships as well as the completion and review of the associated tax compliance work. You will also have involvement with preparing accounts for more complex clients and larger businesses.

With this role being more than your typical compliance position, the successful candidate will develop into a well-rounded business advisor and you will work with a range of high performing and entrepreneurial businesses, tailoring advice to each client to enable them to achieve their strategic goals.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Client management
• Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts for Limited Companies, sole traders, and partnerships
• Preparing and reviewing Corporation Tax & computations
• Management accounts work including use of online accounting software
• Ad hoc special assignment work
• Working closely with the partners
• Assisting and training junior members of the team

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The ideal candidate may be ACA / ACCA Qualified and will have strong experience of dealing with a broad range of clients within a practice setting. ACCA / ACA Qualified. Experience of working in practice is essential.
