Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Chelsea site of the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust for a Data Manager/Clinical Trial Administrator position at the forefront of research within the Lung and Mesothelioma Research Team.

The candidate would ideally understand medical terminology and be educated to GCSE/A Level. They will work within the guidelines and policies for the conduct of clinical trials, ensuring high standards of practice in accordance with the principles of GCP.

The post holder will be part of a multidisciplinary team including experienced medical and nursing staff to support our portfolio of exciting sponsored and hosted research trials.

The successful candidate will be working in a busy trials environment and will need a flexible approach to their duties and the ability to work both as part of the team as well as independently playing a key role in the management of national and international trials in a busy department. In addition, you must have excellent communication, administrative and IT skills and be supportive and open to new initiatives.

Appointment will be on a fixed term contract for one year in the first instance.
