Job Description

My client is a Mansfield based construction firm who are looking for a Development Accountant on a permanent basis.
The business is in a strong position and is looking to secure an individual who can help to strengthen management reporting capabilities as they move to their next phase of growth.

Reporting into the Financial Controller you will be a good all-rounder and will be expected to deal with the following:

• Preparation of management accounts to include budgeting and forecasting
• Production of cost report analysis
• Responsibility for project accounting
• External auditor liaison and preparation of year end accounts

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will be comfortable communicating with colleagues at all levels across the business and will be computer literate with strong Excel skills. A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), you will possess strong technical accounting skills and will have a solid grasp of project/long term contract accounting, ideally gained with another development/construction company.
