Job Description

As a Sales Estimator you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of tenders
• Business development, new and existing clients
• Attending meetings with clients to discuss tenders.
• Receiving enquiries, taking accurate take offs from engineering drawings
• Frequently communicating with the project team and the Estimator Manager to build on knowledge of structural steel work.
• Liaising with the supply chain for secondary trade quotations and clear product understanding
• Ensuring deadlines are strictly adhered too.
• Organizing meetings with the client to discuss, tenders; inclusions, price, programme.
• You will also be required to carry out tasks to assist the estimating manager.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Hold a valid UK Driving License Have excellent communication skills and proven success in building and developing relationships. Have professional telephone skills. Be able to work both independently and as part of a team. You will be involved in various projects across the business. To be considered for this role you will ideally have a proven success as an Estimator in construction or the steel work industry.
