Job Description
As a Sales Estimator you will be responsible for:
Preparation of tenders
Business development, new and existing clients
Attending meetings with clients to discuss tenders.
Receiving enquiries, taking accurate take offs from engineering drawings
Frequently communicating with the project team and the Estimator Manager to build on knowledge of structural steel work.
Liaising with the supply chain for secondary trade quotations and clear product understanding
Ensuring deadlines are strictly adhered too.
Organizing meetings with the client to discuss, tenders; inclusions, price, programme.
You will also be required to carry out tasks to assist the estimating manager.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Hold a valid UK Driving License Have excellent communication skills and proven success in building and developing relationships. Have professional telephone skills. Be able to work both independently and as part of a team. You will be involved in various projects across the business. To be considered for this role you will ideally have a proven success as an Estimator in construction or the steel work industry.
