Job Description
  • Maintain the role of Electrical Duty Holder for all Hanson UK businesses.
  • Manage, oversee and coordinate central contracts and contractors across the business
  • To ensure our standards are harmonized, and conform to national legislation and company guidelines.
  • The post-holder is to support the business line Electrical managers and operational management in their respective areas of the business on electrical compliance matters.
  • The post holder is to support the business line in the control and implementation of statutory contracts outside of electrical
  • To ensure Hanson electrical procedures and processes are up to date and uploaded onto the Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • To manage electrical competence training in conjunction with the training department in the SHE team together with liaising with external providers as required.
  • Assist the SHE Advisors and SSHEM in complying with industry standards, best practice and maintain the Electrical Management system.
  • To seek and implement new methods to improve electrical contractor competence, performance, efficiency and costs whilst ensuring common standards and scopes of work are maintained.
  • Maintain and manage the health and safety central contracts for all statutory compliance
  • Maintain the role of statutory duty holder for Legionella management.
  • To work with the business lines, but also functional departments e.g. purchasing to deliver these goals
