Job Description
A Quality Engineer position has become available, within a business that supplies revolutionary technology to the ever changing automotive industry. As they work through a huge period of growth, this award winning company is looking to expand its various teams, including additional Process and Quality staff.
Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for providing day to day quality support for Supplier, Customer and Internal concerns.
Process Engineer duties include -
- Coordinating and controlling investigation of Customer/Supplier complaints to enable a full understanding of the real root cause.
- Monitoring the implementation and effectiveness of any corrective actions taken to eliminate Supplier or Customer complaints.
- Accountable for all line quality issues - containment, corrective action, risk assessment and 8D.
- Feedback quality and product issues in a timely manner to production.
- Continuous monitoring of the manufacturing process by audit, statistical analysis or any other relevant technique to support continuous improvement.
- Analyze assembly and product issues within the production set-up and provide immediate solutions where required.
