They are looking to expand their team with an experienced Auditor. This is a full time permanent position which is based working in spacious offices in Braintree. If you are based outside of the area and wish to work in London, this is also an option with this organisation.
Practice experience is essential for this role and you will need to be ACCA or ACA qualified with a good knowledge of FRS102 and ideally IFRS.
You will be responsible for the accurate preparation of statutory accounts for Audit clients and the completion of audit work unsupervised.
You will also provide training for other members of the Audit team and provide effective support for both Partner and Manager.
Your responsibilities will include:-
Audit planning, review and undertaking audit work on all aspects of the profit and loss and balance sheet.
Dealing with complex accounting issues as required.
Ensuring the audit and accounts file is complete and ready for preparation of more complex statutory accounts including consolidated group accounts and IFRS accounts.
Review of assistant team members' work, identifying training needs.
To follow Practice procedures including but not exclusive to budgets, accounts preparation processes, work plan and Digita trackers.
To provide effective support for both Partner and Manager by taking on additional tasks and meeting deadlines.
Commercially aware in terms of undertaking tasks and preparing accounts and audit in a cost effective manner.
Training and development of other team members in a supportive manner.
