Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 - 5
Pay Rate: £13.13-£15.14 per hour
Location: Great Ormond Street hospital is near Holborn/Russell Square underground stations.

The Bank Office at the Great Ormond Street Hospital is looking for experienced, self-motivated Medical Secretaries/PAs to work in various departments in the Trust.

Medical Secretaries
Medical Personal Assistants
Your role
In this temp role, you will:
Support a team of Consultants and Doctors in a clinical department with administrative duties such as managing diaries, answering phones, take messages, follow through with each message, ensuring that the appropriate staff member receives the information, scheduling and managing patient appointments.
Transcribe dictation of medical reports
Improve the patient experience though coordination of contact between the team clinics and and patients
Performs other duties assigned by team supervisor
Willingness to undertake training on GOSH EPIC system
Our ideal candidates will have
Proficient with medical terminology, word processing, filing, answering telephones, maintains appointment schedule, and medical records
Previous admin experience
Proficient telephone skills, people skills
Experience with Microsoft Office, Word, and Outlook
Typing 25-35 wpm
Educated to GCSE level or previous experience as a Medical Secretary
