Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that the invoicing and collection of income related to the production of electricity is completed accurately and in accordance with the team’s deadlines.

• Ensuring all transactions, including accruals and prepayments, and payments are processed efficiently.

• Reviewing quarterly management accounts and preparing the variance analysis, ensuring that all deadlines are met.

• Production of budgets and cash flow forecasts for all sites within area of responsibility.

• Update of financial model for Lenders reporting

• Reviewing VAT returns.

• Production of annual statutory accounts and CT returns.

• Liaising with tax and legal advisers and auditors as required.

• Managing and developing Finance Assistant.

• Providing technical advice and support to the junior members of the team.

• Ad hoc project work, including the onboarding of new assets, and reporting as and when required from the business.

• Thorough knowledge of and compliance with Foresight’s procedures and standards.

• Contribute, or otherwise assist, as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Able to demonstrate ability to undertake the above responsibilities. Strong academics and either ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified. Have a solid understanding of financial accounts and be technically up to date. Experience of managing junior members of staff. Legally able to work in the country in which the position is based.
