Job Description

• To help oversee the safe, efficient, and cost-effective running of the production and warehouse operation.
• To allocate and utilise both the workforce and machinery effectively to maximise productivity.
• To work closely with the planning team to plan workloads effectively and efficiently for machinery.
• To work closely with the Warehouse and Production manager as well as other departments including sales, transport, despatch, and goods in.
• To ensure high presentation standards of the product to ensure client satisfaction and maintain position in the marketplace.
• Effectively show high standard leadership skills.
• To ensure health and safety laws and regulations are always adhered too.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The ideal candidate will have or be capable of obtaining a relevant qualification, e.g. the Institute of Leadership and Management 3 (ILM3) or equivalent. Previous experience of supervision would be beneficial. A forklift truck licence is essential and the ability to drive Pivot Steer trucks would be advantageous. IT literate, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, an understanding of WMS systems, ideally NAV is also required.
