The successful applicant will focus on delivering measurable results in the service market and ideally located in the Midlands region to optimize travel requirements across the UK.
This role requires an entrepreneurial mind-set and a strong self-starter who has a relevant knowledge within either the service industry or sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maximizing sales turnover and profitability within an existing customer pool,
Strong focus on generating new business.
Desire to identify and understand end user application needs.
Look to uncover potential for future service through on-going visits to customers, potential customers and end users.
Market mapping and identifying new key customers.
Utilize current Donaldson network to open new revenue streams with existing accounts.
Able to prepare and present sales presentations.
Ensure that all commercial aspects of sales transactions are in the best interest of the company.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful applicant must be self-motivated and a target driven individual. Have a keen eye for attention to detail and be flexible in order to meet the demands of the department and customers. Experience and knowledge of both service and sales industries is essential. Experience in a technical service/sales role or appreciation of technical products in a commercial environment selling role. Experience within a service selling role, ideally in a filtration medium or allied products is preferable. Have an understanding of the technical application of products and the feature/benefits of service. Excellent knowledge and experience using Microsoft packages. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Driven to provide a high level of customer service and building strong working relationships.
