Our client is seeking an experienced Customer Service Advisor to start as soon as possible to join a busy Department within an award winning Distribution Centre. With the introduction of the new legislation at the beginning of this year regarding imports and Exports you will be working alongside a team supporting with these changes. As a Customer Service Advisor you will be responsible for the following:
Key Responsibilities of a Customer Service Advisor:
Sending of cash collection emails via PayPal
Release of held freight awaiting payment
Reconciliation of accounts
Submit quotations to existing and new clients
Create bookings
Providing the highest standard of customer service to clients at all times
Liaison with overseas correspondents to check and arrange consignment dispatch.
Customer service to both internal and external customers
Liaison with customers for import customs clearance and delivery of freight.
Support timely payments to suppliers.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. An individual who has the ability to problem solve. A good understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience of working within a transport and finance environment (desirable). Excellent telephone manner is essential for the role. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
