Job Description
  • Provide hands on training with customers including programming BMS projects.
  • Provide Training in a Classroom environment.
  • Develop new training material and workshop labs.
  • Help Maintain the Cylon UK training Centre to ensure full customer training facilities are available.
  • Maintain mobile training boards so they are available for all training modules.
  • Provide Technical Support to Sales Team.
  • Assist in trouble shooting problems via telephone / email / on-site support.
  • Assist in testing our software.
  • Provide a timely weekly report of activities and agreed KPI’s.
  • Represent Cylon at distributor promotions, exhibitions and seminars.
  • Provide HELPDESK support when required and log all calls in the Contacts Database.
  • Provide timely progress reports to Customers.
  • Develop & Manage critical partner relationships with allocated System Integrator (SI) network.
  • Arrange quotations as required for specific projects.
  • Liaising with Marketing Department as required in relation to new products.
  • Feeding back competitor and market information.
  • Log all appropriate incidents in the Quality Database.
  • Provide for escalation path for unresolved issues, where necessary.
  • Ensure departmental procedures are followed, in compliance with the ISO9000 system.
  • Help support environment of continuous improvement.
  • Be positive and be willing collaborate in proactively finding solutions to problems.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A proven ability to work well in a team environment. High level of Computer literacy. Good telephone manner, good interpersonal skills. Possess good interpersonal skills and Experience of Building Management Systems and Automation. Experience in the operation of Customer Service (CS) department - preferred. Qualification in Electronics/Engineering/Electrical Eng/Mech Eng or equivalent preferred.
