We are an independent firm of Chartered Certified Accountants based in Barnsley and are looking to appoint a Semi Senior / Senior Accountant. We are a forward thinking and highly progressive practice, boasting an enviable portfolio of clients throughout the region. Our clients range from smaller developing owner managed businesses through to large limited companies, as a result the role will offer an excellent opportunity to develop experience within both auditing and accounting.

Skills and Qualities
To be considered for this position it is expected that the successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working within a firm of accountants, applications are also encouraged for individuals who have qualified by experience and have decided not to pursue the formal qualification route. You should have developed experience of preparing statutory accounts and tax computation with little supervision and have a good understanding of Sage Accounting Software. Knowledge of IRIS accounting software would be preferred but is not essential as full training will be given.
Salary is negotiable
28 Days holiday per annum including statutory days.
