Sewell Wallis are recruiting for an experienced Assistant Accountant/Semi-Senior Accountant within a busy and thriving practice who have remained fully operational throughout the current climate. You'll be in a great working environment within a brilliant team of accounting professionals who work hard and are extremely successful at what they do.

The job;

-Assist in the production of accounts for limited companies.
-Working within a team to cover all necessary workload.
-General bookkeeping duties.
-Assisting/Responsible for monthly VAT returns.
-Assisting with the preparation of year end accounts.
-Using Microsoft Excel and other accounts systems eg. Sage.

The person;

-At least two years within a Practice environment.
-Ability to produce accounts or have heavily assisted the production of accounts as a minimum.
-Previous experience dealing with Ltd. Companies within a practice.
-Experience with VAT and knowledge of month and year end accounts.
-A positive and proactive attitude towards work.
