Working as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff across the nursing directorate.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide and coordinate key administrative services; including gathering information and undertaking enquiries as and when is necessary, supporting the team on casework and preparation for key meetings, and taking appropriate follow-up actions as required.
Provide and support managers with a wide range of administrative and IT skills as well as an understanding of procedures, protocols and functions.
Act as first point of contact
Provide and receive complex information which may contain contentious and sensitive information
Communicate and engage with external and internal stakeholders which may require negotiation skills and understanding the needs and requirements of other organisations, senior professionals and individuals
Update and maintain databases and/or spread sheets
Manage meeting arrangements, including the taking and distribution of minutes etc.
Skills Required:
Previous administrative experience within a hospital or healthcare environment
Proficient ability in using Microsoft office packages
Excellent customer service skills
A good attitude and willingness to learn
