Job Description
Key to this role is participating in cross-functional teams to support the efficient running of our vehicles and those of our customers.
Responsibilities
- Working with the procurement and warehouse teams to ensure stock accuracy is maintained through transacting in two operating systems (Infor LN and FAMS) ensuring alignment of both systems.
- Identifying, reporting and resolving system discrepancies relating to stock movements.
- Be a strong team player with ability to work effectively on cross-functional project teams.
- Supporting supplier quality activities such as corrective action completion and NCRs.
- You will take control of maintaining supplier due diligence, code of conduct and insurance records through developing and maintaining a database.
- Monitoring and tracking the use of special tools that are required to be maintained and calibrated utilizing our quality management system Q-Pulse.
- Must be capable of handling multiple tasks at one time.
- Raising purchase requisitions or supporting material requests.
- Provide regular feedback on supply and stock issues to stakeholders.
- Expediting critical components and overdue purchase orders.
- Maintain document control, management of records for parts and maintaining a database.
- Must be able to develop excellent working relationship with both internal and external customers as well as suppliers.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Administration in a rail or engineering environment. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and multi-task. Ability to priorities. Administration experience in an MRP environment. Ability to read engineering drawings or any relevant technical documents. Good presentation, verbal and written communication skills. Project management experience. Solid skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access). Excellent customer service skills.
