This position sits in a HR Team of around 5, although your main points of contact will be with the operations team in the warehouse.
You will coordinate the entire employee lifecycle and support the operations team 'on the ground'. You are there to continually improve the employee experience and seek to continuously improve the HR process in the warehouse.
You'll be the main point of HR contact for their warehouse staff (circa 60) so you will need to be confident and comfortable in front of senior operations managers.
Having a CIPD level qualification (min level 3) would be really helpful, but this company will encourage and financially support professional development for you. You will need to have knowledge and experience of employment law, ideally in a warehouse environment.
This family business started 12 years ago and have ambitions of it becoming one of the biggest retailers in the UK. With head count growth of 50 to 200 people in just 3 years, they're well on their way. This includes 40 people in the last 6 months alone.
They're already working with a number of the biggest retailers, so the standards in everything they do is very high and exepct this to run through everything they do.
You'll need to be able to work in the offices based in Banbury. As you will be the main point of contact, you will be on site. There is a bit of flexibility on the start/finish times, but the hours are predominantly between 9am and 5pm (although there are people in the warehouse 8am until 10pm).
