Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, as the HR Advisor you will be supporting the delivery of the day to day HR functions for the business, including but not limited to:
effectively contributing to the delivery of key HR projects
pro-actively supporting the delivery of key strategic change management programmes, aligned with the wider business strategy
managing the recruitment process including suppliers, applicants, attending interviews and producing offer letters and contracts
ensuring all handbooks and key policies are updated in line with new legislation
contributing to the continuous improvement of all standard HR Practices and procedures
undertaking group orientation for all new starters
assisting Line Managers with organising local inductions as and when required
undertaking exit interviews for all leavers and managing data effectively
organising training activities and contributing to learning & development initiatives
reporting on key HR metrics and KPIs
responsibility for producing ad hoc business reports from the HR system
ensuring compliance with GDPR requirements
ensuring all changes to personnel are followed up diligently, making sure payroll are notified, accurate documentation is produced, organisational charts are maintained and files are up to date
managing the learning and development needs as part of the PDR process
providing effective support and cover to other HR Advisors during periods of absence
The Candidate:
Ideally of graduate standard, or with a similar business related qualification, candidates for the HR Advisor role will preferably also have achieved, or be working towards their further CIPD qualifications.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Had at least 2 years previous work experience within a specific HR environment, in the same or similar HR advisory role a thorough understanding of HR processes and procedures excellent IT skills, being fully conversant with software packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook excellent planning and organisational skills With close attention to detail, you should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as being confident at developing good relationships with both internal and external clients.
