Signature Recruitment is excited to present an opportunity to join our client, a University in the Central London area, as a Personal Assistant and Administrator on a full time, temporary basis.The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic individual who will provide support the Academic team and work closely with the administration team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent experience as a Personal Assistant, will be a strong administrator and communicator, and will have worked within a Higher Education institution. If this sounds like a role that would suit your experience well, then please continue reading!

PA/Administrator Key Responsibilities:

  • Arranging and organising meetings via zoom
  • Circulating and setting dates preparing and distributing agendas and other papers
  • Minuting zoom meetings
  • Diary management for the team
  • Managing and responding to all calls, visitors, post, and e-mails
  • Preparing spreadsheets for the team
  • Taking responsibility for the grants administration – reporting on the status of the grants
  • Liaising with the finance team to collect grant information, presenting information to clients
  • Managing the budget
  • Ordering stationary for the office
  • Chasing PO’s and processing expenses

PA/Administrator Essential Skills and Experience:

  • At least 2 years of Higher Education experience
  • Strong office Administration experience
  • Experience providing administrative support to a team including diary management
  • Budget management experience
  • Minute taking
  • Confident Microsoft Office user (Excel, Word)
