The HR Adviser will work with and support employment their law team and be responsible for all generalist HR queries and have up to date knowledge of employment law and best practice. Prior experience as an HR Advisor working within an organisation offering HR support is desirable. This role will include involvement in developing and marketing and will include meetings with prospective clients. An understanding of the range of services that can be offered to businesses and how it can be delivered is preferred.
Providing employee relations support to clients
Reviewing and updating employee handbooks and contracts.
Liaising with clients and creating HR policies, ensuring they are compliant
Responsible for all generalist HR queries

Travel to and attend client premises will be required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Fully CIPD qualified (or equivalent). Prior experience of working within an organisation offering HR support is desirable. A motivated individual with experience in general HR Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Good working knowledge of UK employment law Previous experience of working in a similar advisory capacity Strong organisational, multi-tasking and prioritisation skills with good attention to detail IT literate; proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) A clean driving licence as the role will involve regular local travel
