Job Description
This role would really benefit from an individual who has experience of working in a divisional role within a larger group
Duties & Responsibilities: Financial Controller
Act as the finance lead and business partner to the entire division
Co-ordinate and direct the preparation and analysis of the budget, actual monthly results and financial forecasts and report variances
Co-ordinate and direct the preparation of month end accounts
Prepare and publish timely month end financial statements and business information
Support the management team in analysing, understanding and interpreting the operational and financial performance of the division and local offices through use of both operational and financial KPIs and help improve business decision making and performance
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Also ensure robust and reliable cost control measures are in place and operating effectively
Support key divisional business and Group Finance initiatives
Manage and report debt and debt collection and ageing performance
Support and work closely with the Group Finance function and audit processes
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA) with proven post qualified experience Proven working experience as a Financial Controller / Business Finance Partner / Head of Finance Experience of change management - preferably including IT projects Maintenance and development of financial and operational KPI's and trends to highlight actual and desired performance A financial leader and team player with high levels of energy, enthusiasm and professional standards Clear written and verbal communication skills at all levels including the ability and confidence to present to the management team Experience of working in a Group environment and reporting information to and working and collaborating with Group Financial Colleagues
