They are experiencing increased growth within their group and now in a position to recruit a enthusiastic Financial Accountant to work closely with the Financial Controller on a fixed term contract (circa 18 months).

This is a fairly urgent requirment and would suit an individual who is a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) looking for an exciting step into a market leading business, or someone with extensive financial accounting experience able to hit the ground running and add significant value to current processes.

Day to day duties as Financial Accountant include:

• Take accountability of the full month end balance sheet journals and consolidation
• Ensure the business is as efficient as possible on processing & controls, whilst maintaining the compliance in line with standards
• Leading and supervising individuals within the Financial Accounts team, helping them on work and supporting their development
• Annual and quarterly financial statements
• Building relationships with both internal and external auditors

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualification (or QBE) Knowledge of accountancy software packages Experienced in VAT and double entry bookkeeping A strong team but able to work independently and prioritise a heavy workload Available immediately or maximum one week notice period
