Job Description
You should be able to:
- Use various planning systems in order to plan daily schedules, this will include using Paragon routing software;
- Manage and control customer orders and available customer offerings to ensure key operational targets are adhered to;
- Create accurate daily management reports;
- Develop and implement KPI information for ongoing monitoring of the operations transport solution;
- Conduct model scenarios for UK wide transport networks to identify operational improvements and new opportunities;
- Continually review working practices and improve in conjunction with the distribution director and Regional Management
- Review Distribution Centre performance against plan to improve SLA and financial performance

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will have experience in a Transport & Planning environment; you will be hard working and have strong communication skills. With previous experience of computerized planning and scheduling systems you’ll have a thorough awareness of transport industry legislation.
