Responsibilities of a Financial Controller

-To oversee accounting activities and ensure that ledgers accurately reflect money coming in and out of the company.

-Co-ordinating the preparation of monthly management accounts and reports in addition to reviewing and approving all Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Overseeing, and supporting the Financial and Management Accountants with Month end preparation including Accruals, Deferrals and Prepayments.

-Representing the team both externally with auditors and advisors and internally at project meetings.
Requirements for a Financial Controller
The role involves responsibility for day-to-day finance, monthly management accounts, annual reporting cycle including annual reports and ad-hoc project work.
