Job Description

They are looking to grow their finance department and are looking for a qualified accountant to come in and work on a variety of accounting areas within the business covered in Financial and Statutory accounting.

• Monthly forecasting, including detailed forecast at Cost centre level
• Responsible for month end activities and journals, including timely reconciliation of all general ledger accounts
• Completion of balance sheet reconciliation in a timely manner
• Management of all intercompany loans and reconciliations
• Financial reporting to group and liaison with US accounting team to assist with Group month-end close
• Monthly bank recs
• Assist in bottoms up Budget preparation
• Responsible for the cash processes including cash forecasting
• Improving controls and processes in compliance with SOX
• Fixed Asset accounting
• Prepare and submit monthly tax preparation

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Must have industry experience if from a practise background 2+ years experience in commercial accounting Excellent excel skills (Vlookups, macros)
