Job Description

The Role is divided between receiving and dispatching our chemical products accordance with Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety, and departmental procedures in order to meet our customer needs.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to follow the details given in procedures and standard works
• Checking batch numbers, chemical code numbers and quantities ensuring they match the descriptions on picklists/dispatch notes/good receipt notes
• Ability to pack materials for shipping in accordance to ADR/IATA/IMDG or acquire skills and knowledge via training course
• Complete documentation in an accurate and legible manner
• Carry out routine inspections, quality checks and housekeeping duties as required
• Consistently meet departmental performance indicators whist achieving a positive customer experience
• Embrace and participate in process improvement initiatives to identify opportunities and cost savings to the business
• Use IT systems to dispatch to customers
• Use of Microsoft office applications to generate reports and collect data, update standard works and procedures
• Effectively perform your duties whilst acting at all times in accordance with the Dignity at Work Policy, Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and our values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and Involvement

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:

• Ability to speak, read and write in English language.
• Experience of stock control, especially with and Dispatch.
• Regular user of IT systems and Applications.

You are required to be smartly presented at all times and have a professional approach. Have the ability to be flexible and work across different departments. A knowledge and experience of a stores/warehouse environment Ability to use and understand a range of IT systems. Work with due care and attention and in accordance with prescribed safety guidelines. adhering to the company policy, including the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment.
