Starting Salary: £23,754 per annum

Hours: Full time

Term: Permanent

We are looking for an experienced administrator with a passion to work in Higher Education, with proven administrative and organisation skills; a person who pays attention to detail, and has good time management, prioritising skills and the ability to communicate effectively and cheerfully with both students and staff. The successful candidate will report to the Institutes Business Manager and work closely with the Directors, Heads of Department and Programme Directors, and will be the first point of contact for student and staff queries regarding programmes.

As well as being able to manage and work closely with other administrators and services staff, the role requires decision making and a proactive mindset. The successful applicant will also be responsible for tasks the Institutes Business Manager and Programme Directors may wish to delegate as needed.

The post will be based in the Institutes Office, supporting the work of the Institute of Business, Law and Society, and a range of Business, Society and Communications programmes, at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

The Institute of Business, Law and Society is an internationally recognised centre with established expertise and resources.

At both undergraduate and postgraduate level, we are committed to offering vocationally relevant programmes of study with the highest academic standards.
