Job Description
- The primary accountability of this role is to build, strengthen and maintain the beauty capability of our Beauty Advisors to meet and beat the business demands. This must be done in close and collaborative partnership with Commercial, Operations and the beauty houses.
- Leads the strategy and execution of beauty training delivery and design (for face to face and digital/social learning) across our UK and ROI businesses – continually driving innovation in our approach to enhance our customer proposition and experience.
- Responsible for developing beauty capability that drives commercial impact via key populations including Boots Beauty Specialists, Customer Advisors, Assistant Store Managers and Store Managers across BUK and ROI
- Works in collaboration across the business to engage, excite and educate key populations in stores to deliver successful launches of new brands and NPD via a range of capability interventions, workshops and conferences.
- Partners with and influences a range of internal and external stakeholders including Store leadership, Senior Management and External brand partners and suppliers
- Ensures that ALL customers have a beauty experience that is inclusive and understands their unique needs and aspirations and that this way of working is embedded in all that we do.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You can demonstrate previous experience in end to end beauty training from the design to the delivery and will be passionate about new ways to build capability and confidence in beauty including digital tools and blended learning approaches. With your wealth of experience in the beauty industry you’ll still be excited about new brands, products and services and the positive impact beauty can have on making people from every walk of life feel great. Customer service and creating a great experience will be part of your DNA and you’ll have proven how you can create great capability interventions that balance technical skills with customer experience needs. Whilst focused on the experience you’ll also be driven by the impact that you can have on the commercial success of the business and will be comfortable setting and tracking your achievements against KPIs.
