Job Description

The Financial Accountant will have responsibility for the production of legal entity statutory reporting in line with FRS102 and also assist with the statutory and management reporting for the group. They will liaise with the auditors at year end and also the entity Financial Controller, acting as a point of contact on accounting, reporting and process queries.
The Financial Accountant will play a key role in the continuous improvement of processes, controls, reporting and IT systems to drive efficiency and also quality of reporting.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience of audit would be beneficial. They will be technically minded, analytical, with strong IT skills in Excel, experience or knowledge of a reporting package such as Hyperion or Cognos would be beneficial. The Financial Accountant will be a confident communicator with the ability to liaise at all levels, they will be ambitious and eager to further develop their skills and knowledge both from a technical perspective and in business too.
