Job Description

The Account Manager will be responsible for generating sales and retaining business through delivering best in class customer service. The Account Manager will support customers through the end to end sales process, as well as providing quality aftersales support.
The main responsibilities of this role will be:
• Processing tenders and credit applications for prospective clients
• Production of sales quotations
• Refreshing of quotations
• Chasing feedback/acceptance of sales quotations (primarily by phone)
• Achieve a personal sales target set on a monthly basis
• Support other account managers with absence cover
• Support the launch of new products and services through effective internal and external communication
• Act as primarily liaison with TPI’s and direct customers where required
• Support back-office in providing aftersales support and customer care
• Various standard and ad-hoc reporting
• Attend off-site client meetings and networking events when required

Our client are looking for success-driven experienced account management professionals with experience in building and maintaining customer relationships. You will be a self-motivated individual with great time management skills, who also has very strong communication (written and verbal) skills. Experience in contract negotiation would be advantageous but is not essential.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate will be given a list of undeveloped accounts to develop and manage (around 60 customers) using indirect sales techniques.
