An exciting opportunity has arisen to support our COVID 19 Test Trace and Protect Programme in Powys Teaching Health Board. The role of the COVID 19 Community Tester will be to deliver the testing component of our service and will be pivotal in working with the clinical registrants in order to identify patients needs, to ensure excellent care is given to our patients.
We are looking for Band 2 COVID -19 Community testers to join our dynamic, forward thinking Testing team and to help support our new models of care to support the Covid-19 situation and deliver our Test Trace and Protect strategic framework.
We're looking for enthusiastic people who are excited about new opportunities. You will be working in a supportive environment that will be varied and will offer you the chance to feel a valued member of the service, providing a crucial role to help defeat the pandemic.
You will be required to work on a rota basis in order for our service to be delivered 7 days a week, delivering antigen testing in our Mass Testing Units and our community settings. Our aim is to provide a high standard of evidence based care to patients and recognising the wider impact that COVID-19 can have on peoples lives.
You will need to be confident and be keen to take up training opportunities as the service develops.
You will need be highly motivated, have the ability to use your own initiative and demonstrate the values and behaviours of the health board.
We will provide you with a structured induction and training period to ensure you have the opportunity to develop new skills and competence.
