Job Description
This is a key role at the most important end of our business; you will be dealing directly with our clients and potential/current tenants. You will often be the first point of contact, meeting and greeting clients/applicants in a friendly and helpful manner. The right candidate must be well presented, professional with exceptional customer service skills and a can-do attitude.
- Managing a property portfolio of private residential tenancies throughout East London/Essex
- Liaising with landlords, tenants, tradesmen, service providers and professional advisors
- Liaising with the lettings team
- Arranging and monitoring works and repairs
- Preparing tenancy agreements and statutory notices
- Arrange inventories, gas safety certificates, EPC’s and all other legal documentation to ensure that all managed properties comply with current legislation
- Carrying out property inspections and reporting to landlords
- Pursuing outstanding monthly rental payments
- Negotiating terms of tenancy renewals
- Mediating between landlords and tenants on any issues or disputes
- Handling tenancy deposit returns
- General office administrative and management duties
- Build productive team relationships and contribute proactively to team activities
- Ensuring an excellent standard of customer service is provided and upheld at all times
