Job Description
  • The role will proactively provide secretarial and administrative support to the Directors of Stores, Regional Managers and Stores through highly effective planning, organizing and communication whilst role modelling the Company Valu When needed the role will also support the Retail, Retail Operations and Property Director and the Director of Retail Operations
  • To build and maintain relationships with the Directors of Stores, Regional Managers, Stores, Retail, Retail Operations and Property Director and key stakeholders of the field teams
  • Assist in day to day activities involved in the smooth running of the Divisions, Regions and Stores
  • Reduce and remove task from the Senior Leadership team, field teams and stores by improving processes, displaying a high level of customer service and knowledge of all functions, policies, and procedures.
  • A key support with strategic plans, bespoke projects and ad hoc requests providing advice to match demand and results from cross functional areas. Within these projects you will give insight, recommendations, detailed analysis, and solutions to overcoming systems risks

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of Outlook and Office packages i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Focus on customers' needs delivering requirements to agreed timelines. Able to simplify complexity, driving continuous improvement in self, team and stakeholders. Personal Assistant experience. Project Management methodology – Lean Six Sigma (Yellow Belt), Prince 2, Agile. Organized and able to plan and priorities workload. Effective decision making, communications and listening. Able to make confident decisions at pace. Personally organized, confident, and articulate. Well-developed interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal communication. Good communication skills. Takes personal ownership for tasks. Relationship Management - Builds good cross-functional relationships with the purpose of driving and delivering team goals/objectives. Pro-actively uses their internal and/or external network to good effect. Decision Making - Uses knowledge & judgment to make decisions.
