Job Description

I'm currently partnered up with a local, family ran accountancy practice based in Glasgow City Centre. They have doubled in size in the last 2 years, have implemented state of the art software and have no plans to stop growing.

Using a mix of Sage, Xero and IRIS, the role will include:

• Preparing monthly & quarterly management accounts
• Drafting corporation tax computations
• Processing journals, prepayments & accruals
• Preparing VAT returns
• Balance sheet & bank reconciliations
• Adhoc bookkeeping and accounts work

This role is perfect for someone looking to step into a more meaningful role for a firm with a great culture that looks after their staff extremely well.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

We are looking to appoint an Accounts Senior in the team to manage their own portfolio of clients but also play a vital part in developing the junior members of staff. To be considered for the position you must have experience working at this level in an accountancy practice.
